CODE OF ETHICS

As care providers we have a professional code of ethics that help guide our policies and practices; Early childhood educators:

  • promote the health and well-being of all children
  • use developmentally appropriate practices when working with children
  • demonstrate caring for all children in all aspects of their practice
  • work in partnership with parents, supporting them in meeting their responsibilities to their children
  • work in partnership with their colleagues and other service providers in the community to support the well-being of families

THE CHILD

In order for your child to blossom in our care, we believe your child:

  • learns best through play
  • uses many different languages to express themself
  • must feel safe, be nurtured, and have a strong sense of belonging

  • is inherently capable of guiding their own learning and will need resources to support their avenues of enquiry
