family assistance program
Maven Lane is dedicated to supporting the well being of the children and families of our community. At some point in their lives, everyone suffers from unexpected bad news. Sometimes it takes a strong heart to get through the difficult times, but sometimes it requires a monumental effort to just keep your head above water.
As members of our community we want to support our children and families who are suffering from crisis. We understand that when times are particularly difficult, a little help can go a long way! It gives you breathing space, allows you to take in the full scope of your unfortunate situation and begin to manage a new set of priorities and routines —whether they are temporary or long term.
Our Family Assistance Program is made possible through the support of families who want to help their fellow community members in times of need. It is designed to help families on a temporary basis to relieve the strain of a crisis.
Our Family Assistance Program offers two different types of help. Financial assistance aimed at creating stability, as well as support through a network of people who will use their energy and caring spirits to secure help and services from the community in ways that will make the day-to-day tasks a little easier to manage.
If you need help, please don’t be afraid to ask. Your circumstances will be reviewed by an anonymous committee, in confidence, who will assess how the program may be able to support you.
